Report: Store-Bought Honey May Not Be Honey
Lab Tests Show No Pollen Content, No Proof It's Actually Honey
76-percent of samples from major grocery store chains, including Kroger and Giant Eagle contained no pollen. All of the samples purchased at drug stores, including CVS, Rite-Aid and Walgreens, were devoid of pollen. Seventy-seven percent of the samples from discount stores such as Costco, Sam's Club, Target and Walmart did not include pollen. And none of the fast-food-style single-serving packets included pollen.
"Most people buy honey because of the health advantages to it," says Conrad. "People want to eat healthy. If you're eating honey without the good properties then you're just eating another sweetener."

For those of you who missed Two and a Half Men
last night due to the local news breaking
in about a tornado warning HERE it is. Just now catching
up on it because it was early in the show
that Jake just told his dad he got his girlfriend
pregnant then the news channel broke in.
That sucked!

3:00pm
Getting ready to boil some eggs to pickle.
It takes from 3 days up to 2 weeks to pickle
depending upon how strong you want them to be.
3:45pm
I got the beet juice mix ready and boiled.
Got the eggs boiled.
I am at a standstill for a little bit.
Why you ask? Why ask why!
Well let's see, I put the strainer in the sink
on top of a few dishes that were in there
and went to dump the boiling water off the eggs.
Something didn't go right and the strainer tipped
some causing the boiling hot water to go
down the front of me. I immediately stripped
right then and there to keep the hot water
from penetrating my skin any more than it could.
From what I can see, and feel, it got my belly,
both feet and an ankle.
GEESH, can't the simplest things go right???
So like I said everything is at a standstill
because I've been applying cool wash cloths
to the burns and standing in front of the fan.
Nothing to run to the hospital for but it
still hurts some, more on the belly than
anywhere else.
These better be some damn good pickled, deviled eggs!

Don't feel the greatest today.
Stomach feels a little raw.
It's hard to explain.
Hope it's not the stomach flu or nothing
like that brewing up. Kids have had runny noses
and that's it.
I just remembered that it was one year ago
on my birthday yesterday that I took my first ambulance
ride to the hospital for the stomach flu
and dehydration.
