11:40am
This morning we went down to the flea market.
I think it sucked more than last weekend with even
less vendors.
We stopped at Big Lots on the way home
to find a birthday gift for one of the boy's friends
who is having a birthday party today.
This is the boy who's father bought our trailer yesterday.
While in Big Lots I bought mom
a Sub Zero Lilac shrub plant for Mother's Day for $4.50.
She loves lilacs.
They also had rose bushes on sale for $3.33
but I didn't get any.
I was eyeballing the Mr. Lincoln red roses though.

1:30pm
I am currently working on the tipsy flower planters.
I have decided to use 2 of the larger pots on
the bottoms. Then stack the 4 smaller pots on top.
But in order to do that and get them all to match
I have to paint them and the polka dots on them.
I didn't worry about painting the bottom pot
because it was mostly covered with soil.
3:30pm
Whew, I finally got the tipsy planters done!
I would like to find a couple of small plastic
watering cans to add to the tops for decoration to cover up
the rest of the pole.
Total cost to make two- $9.67 or $4.83 each.
.75 cents for three small pots
$2.00 for 5 small pots
.20 cents for 4 large pots
$4.74 for 24 red, white and purple petunias
$1.98 for 2 garden stakes
Free- paint
Free- dirt
I didn't have enough dirt so came up with the
idea to go into the back yard and grab a bunch
of pine needles and dead leaves and
fill the pots half way up with that
then I filled with some miracle grow potting soil
the rest of the way.
