11:40am

Brunch.

My version of a Barnyard Buster from TeeJays.

4 large potatoes sliced thin
and fried in Italian dressing til browned.
Sprinkle with salt and onion powder.

In a small saucepan add 2 packets
Pioneer sausage flavored country gravy
along with 4 cups water.
Whisk together and cook til thickened.

In a skillet add cooking spray and
crack open 4 eggs and fry as desired.

1 can of biscuits baked in oven.

Add egg, potatoes and biscuits cut in half
on each plate and spoon gravy over top.

Going to have to tighten up the belt a notch
in the coming months due to car repairs.
But before we do we're gonna splurge and
take the kids to see a movie today
at the cheap theater.
Going to see Men In Black 3.
I think it's $1.75 a person there.
It's been awhile since we've been to
a movie theater.  The last movie we saw
was Toy Story 3.  It's now being shown
on regular cable if that says anything.
And of course I have to cheat and take
our own drinks and snacks.
I'm lucky to try and afford a movie show
let alone afford snacks and drinks from one.
